OUR PASTOR

Kelvin Kimbro received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1991, marking the beginning of a life wholly surrendered to the call and purpose of God. As Scripture declares, “Therefore if any man

be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all

things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). From that moment forward,

his life became a testimony of transformation, obedience, and faithful

service.

Shortly after his conversion, Kelvin began serving as Music Minister at

House of Faith Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Leon King Jr.,

cultivating both his gift and his heart for ministry. In July 1994, he was

licensed to preach the Gospel, and by December 1995, he was ordained—

stepping fully into his calling and simultaneously answering the call to serve

as Youth Minister. As the Apostle Paul reminds us, “Preach the word; be

instant in season, out of season” (2 Timothy 4:2), and Pastor Kelvin has

consistently demonstrated this charge through every season of his journey.

Following the transition of leadership, Kelvin faithfully served under Pastor Melvin Bradley Sr., the successor to Pastor King, where he was later called to serve as Assistant Pastor until October 2008. His leadership, humility, and dedication to shepherding God’s people continued to grow as he later served in key leadership roles at Family Fellowship International Christian Church under Pastor Jerome Wilkins and at Lion of Judah: Family Worship Center under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Mario Kimball. In every assignment, he remained committed to the work of the Lord, embodying the truth of “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2).

On September 11, 1993, Kelvin married Phyllis Kimbro, his partner in life and ministry. Together, they have faithfully served side-by-side as Ambassadors of Christ, demonstrating the power of unity in purpose and covenant. Their marriage reflects the Word of God in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “A threefold cord is not quickly broken,” as they have built their lives and ministry with Christ at the center.

In 2015, God birthed New Creation Christian Ministry in the heart of Pastor Kelvin, a vision rooted in a deep desire to see the Church reflect the true image of Jesus Christ. This vision is anchored in Romans 8:29, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son.” Pastor Kelvin has remained steadfast in proclaiming that the Church is not merely a gathering, but a living representation of Christ in the earth.

At the core of this ministry is the understanding that holy living cannot be achieved through human effort alone. As Jesus declares in John 15:5, “Without me ye can do nothing.” Holiness is not a performance, it is the result of abiding in Christ. And we rejoice in the truth that we are not without Him. For the Word reminds us, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Therefore, New Creation Christian Ministry stands as a testament to the power of transformation, the necessity of Christ, and the call for believers to live lives that reflect His image. Through obedience, faith, and unwavering commitment, Pastor Kelvin Kimbro continues to lead with the conviction that true change, true holiness, and true identity are found in Jesus Christ alone.

1 Corin 6:11

And such were some of you, but now you are washed, you are sanctified, you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

OUR CHURCH

The specific purpose for which New Creation Christian Ministry (NCCM) is                                                                   established is to build, cultivate, and oversee places of worship where the                                                                   presence of God dwells and the people of God are equipped, to faithfully                                                                     teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, and to advance                                                                   the Kingdom of God through evangelistic, discipleship, and humanitarian                                                                     outreach.

In obedience to the Great Commission, “Go ye therefore, and teach all                                                                       nations…” (Matthew 28:19–20), NCCM is committed to proclaiming the                                                                       unadulterated Word of God, reaching the lost, strengthening believers,                                                                       and demonstrating the love of Christ in both word and deed. This includes                                                                   the licensing and ordination of ministers of the Gospel, equipping them to                                                                   carry forth the call of God, as affirmed in Scripture: “And he gave some,                                                                     apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry” (Ephesians 4:11–12).

NCCM further engages in all activities that are necessary, suitable, and aligned with the will of God to fulfill this divine assignment, recognizing that “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalm 127:1).

We recognize ourselves as a unified body of Christian believers, joined together in faith, purpose, and covenant, working collectively to advance the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As the Word declares, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular” (1 Corinthians 12:27), and “That they all may be one… that the world may believe” (John 17:21), we are committed to walking in unity, love, and spiritual maturity.

With Christ as our foundation and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we stand as ambassadors of the Kingdom, fulfilling the charge that “We are ambassadors for Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:20), proclaiming reconciliation, transformation, and new life through Jesus Christ.

Galatians 6:15

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a New Creation.
